Welcome an international language student into your home this September!
We are getting ready to welcome our new term of junior (13-17 years) international students this September.
As part of our programme we are looking for Bristol based families like you to become hosts for our students this Autumn.
This is a unique opportunity to welcome an international student into your home and enjoy:
- up to £125 per student per week, that's £250 a week if are able to host two junior students for a week.
- A unique cultural exchange for your entire family
- The opportunity to share your community with a young students from countries such as Spain, Italy, France, Taiwan, Switzerland and Saudi Arabia.
- The chance for your own children to improve their language skills
Who will you be hosting?
We have lots of international students arriving in September. Many students are juniors (aged 13-17 years) and some are young adults (18+)
What will you need to do?
As a host family, we will match you with a student, or students, who will come to live with you during their stay in Bristol.
For 18+ students you will need to provide a single room and half board (breakfast and evening meal Monday to Friday, 3 meals at weekends)
For under 18 year old students single or twin room for the student(s)* and breakfast, packed lunch, and dinner each day.
You will need to have a gas safety certificate for your home and hosts for under 18 students will require an enhanced DBS (we can help you with this)
