Coordinating Summer Groups

I joined the BLC team four weeks ago as the school’s new Group Coordinator. For me, it is a familiar role but in the new and exciting city of Bristol! I have come to BLC from a similar school in Oxford having worked as a Group Coordinator and Student Services Officer. I have joined BLC at the busiest and most exciting time of year as we prepare for a busy and lively summer!

I enjoy the long process of managing groups that stems from a simple email enquiry right through to providing a group of 60 students with a memorable study trip. This long process is a journey and a great opportunity to build strong relationships with agents and schools from all over the world and to offer an unforgettable experience for their keen young English learners.

For the summer groups especially, it’s not all about the English classes but it’s about the overall study trip experience. For many of our young students, their trip to Bristol is their first trip away from home. Bristol’s groups enjoy a perfect combination of education, British culture and English family life. Having seen and heard first-hand the amazing feedback from group students, I now wish that I had had the opportunity to participate in a summer junior programme when I was at school as I really appreciate how valuable the experience is.

The team and I are really looking forward to welcoming this summer’s groups and hope that you all have a wonderful time in this great school and city. For any group-related queries, please contact
